Silkies are named for their unique fluffy plumage, which feels like silk. They have several unusual qualities, such as black skin and bones, blue earlobes, and five toes on each foot (although not all of our silkies will hatch out with five toes). Calm and friendly and the most docile of poultry, they make an ideal pet. Hens are broody and make good mothers. Barred Cochin Bantams have black and white barred plumage with the males being somewhat lighter than the females. The dark bars of the female will be twice as wide as those of the male. Cochin Bantams are good mothers and will often go broody. Straight run only.

All of their plumage is buff, and they are smooth legged. Sebrights are the only breed where the males do not have any point hackle, saddle, or tail sex feathers. Males are therefore considered to be “hen feathered”.

Buff Cochin Bantams have solid golden buff plumage that is rich in color and free of both black and white. They must not be subject to direct sunlight or their plumage will bleach, therefore, shade must be provided. They have yellow shanks and toes which are fully feathered. Cochins can be very broody and make good mothers. Straight run only.

Dark Brahma Bantams are an attractive chick with stately bodies and silver penciled plumage. Most of the female's plumage is steel grey with distinct penciling. The plumage of the male’s tail, chest, wing bows, feet, and legs is black with the remainder being primarily silver-white. Straight run only.

Delaware Bantams are much like the standard-sized bird of the same name. They have a silver-white body and breast; white tail and wings with some black barring. These birds adapt well to confinement but can be free range birds. Delaware Bantams produce small brown eggs.

Easter Egger Bantams have muffs, beards and pea combs like standard Easter Eggers. They are grayish colored in the females and grey with red on the wings and neck on the males. Easter Egger Bantams will lay blue, green and the occasional brown egg. Straight run only.

Golden Laced Cochin Bantams are a very rare variety, with most feathers being a rich golden bay on the surface and the main tail, sickles and coverts are black or lustrous greenish black on the male. The female appears to be a beautiful black laced, rich golden little chick. Straight run only.
